What is the preparation for Brazilian waxing procedure?
Leave your hair longer than 8 -12cm before waxing. The longer the hair, the easier it is to grab. If the hair too long, therapist will trim to right length for waxing.
Day before your appointment, be sure to exfoliate and moisturize the areas need to be wax. You can use a dry brush or a loofah sponge, against the hair growth for exfoliating.
Exfoliated skin means faster service in salon, less irritation, and less hair breakage.
You can bring a clean underwear to wear after your wax, to prevent bacterial reactions. Please come fresh and clean.
For your own comfort we suggest taking an ibuprofen one hour before your appointment and avoid drinking alcohol before waxing.
How much does it hurt?
It will hurt, but the level of hurting is very individual.
The first wax is the most uncomfortable because you are new to wax, your hair and skin is not used to the procedure. clients usually feel better around the second time.
Again it is a good idea to take a pain killer one hour before your appointment to help reduce pain.
How much does Brazilian waxing cost?
Price can vary, depending on the area size, can be from $50-180.
You can choose to wax everything off (Front and Back), or you can choose just the front or just partly area at front.
How long does the result last?
Normally waxing results can last up to 3-4 weeks. The hair removal results last longer than shaving because waxing removed hair from the follicles. Skin feels less irritated, decreased ingrown hairs and breakouts. Can help to keep the area more hygienic.
How long does the Brazilian waxing procedure take?
The Brazllian waxing procedure normally take 15-30mins. This is a quite fast treatment, but depending on client experience on waxing, treatment time can be varying due to following factors: pain tolerance, skin and hair condition, plucking fine hair needed or not.
Will the hair grow back thicker after the wax?
No. The hair will grow back thicker after shaving but not waxing. Because each time when you have been waxed, the hair follicle will have a change to be damaged. The more you do wax, the finer the unwanted hair grows back.
